How To Better Your Chances
When you use backlinks I wanted to give you some tips on how to use your url to your advantage. Anytime you submit to a directory or some form if seo submission don't ever use a innerpage url. What you want to do is use the keyword phrases in the description and the title but use your homepage url ALWAYS as the link. Search engines will connect the dots for you, that's how it works.
How Many Links Are Needed?
The higher the page rank the better off you are! 20 high ranking sites are better then 10000 page 1 sites. You may have to pay for them but in the long run the links will stick and that's what Google and Yahoo are after. Many of these directories often get sold, well their domain does. That's how people make their living with selling domains. They figure that because it gets traffic and has outgoing links it is worth more.

But chances are when the domain gets sold you will lose your links, so I sugest you try submitting articles with your link within the post. If your not a top notch writer you can go to a place like SEO Mall where they can write the articles for you, and they have professional copywriters that will do this at the fraction of the price. Like anything it takes time, so if this is a new wesbite don't build thousands of links right away that's a red flag and you might get sandboxed which is like spamming to the search engines.

How Forums Can Help
Sometimes Forums Will Give You Ideas
It's not wrong to ask for help, and in many cases forums have people just like you that need answers. You don't have to be a member to search for answers, but many forums ask that you become a member so in this case get yourself a free email account and sign up.
Your Forum Signature
You can edit your forum signature usually in the top left, anytime you post to the forum a link will appear at the bottom with your url. Now it's a 50/50 crapshoot if the forum is a do follow or not but either way I recommend you do this. If it is a dofollow forum your keyword phrase will rank higher in search engines. It is NOT a waste of time to add your url there.
You Don't Have To List In All Forums
This has become a debate battle over the years, many SEO firms offer programs that will list your url in thousands of forum signatures BUT without you posting it is in my opinion a waste of time. Though they might ping it once and Google sees it, after a while without you posting the link fades away. I've tried it and don't see any value in it.

I do think certain internet forums can help that being one of them. I am not a member of many and have found some of them focused on advertising their products.

Everyone now has probably heard of Amazon being the leader in the affiliate industry. They give you everything you need to be successful, there is no question about that. But if your like most and don't have a lot of money I would like to give you a few tips on how to make money with Amazon.
You Won't Get Rich
Once your an affiliate, Amazon gives you banners and links to use which are very helpful. I want you to go to make a amazon mall, now they give you the opportunity to make one which is free. Don't use many categories! Use just one, and here is an example. Heating pads, name your mall something like Discount Heating Pads. Start adding the examples they give you, for shoulders back knees and wrist for example. Add them randomly and as many as you like. Please add the moist ones and electric ones, it gives your readers options.
Take Your Time
Make it look good, and write comments after you add it to your mall. Add subcategories like Knees Back Shoulder and Arms. Once you get that done, and it should take a day or two to do this. Take that url of your new mall and go to Fiverr and have someone write a article for you. Make sure to include your links within the article, you can also have someone send that to social media for you like twitter facebook and linkedin.
